Hi, I’m Marisa.

I design learning experiences that empower individuals and teams to grow with confidence.

Why LXD?

I work in Learning Experience Design (LXD) because I care deeply about making learning clear, engaging, and usable in the real world.

I’m drawn to the challenge of turning complex content, systems, and processes into learning experiences people can truly understand, apply, and feel confident using in their work.

Designing learning that supports both individuals and organizations sits at the intersection of my strengths and background in learning program management, project implementation analysis, systems thinking, and visual design.

My background

My career has taken me through learning-centered operations, business analytics, process improvement, and digital design, but the common thread has always been turning complexity into clarity. Whether I’m supporting employees, C-suite executives, or clients, I focus on creating learning experiences and processes that are practical, engaging, and actually usable.

I’ve led learning programs, trained and supported others, documented technical IT workflows and user guides, partnered with SMEs and technical teams, and managed projects where engagement mattered just as much as execution. Curiosity, structure, analysis, empathy, and a strong belief that good learning design can change outcomes is core to my professional mission.

When I’m not working you’ll find me creating art, exploring the outdoors, cuddling with my cats, or scouting the city for interesting architecture and urban design. I’m passionate about creating and learning, both in my hobbies and in my work.
